In fact, it's not even just sheep-it's all animals, including exotics. It's also pricey, but I think all livestock owners should have a copy or be able to get a copy (i.e. share with other livestock owners).

here is a website: http://www.merckvetmanual.com/mvm/index.jsp

When I used towork in the vet field (I was a vet technician and then welfare officer for years in my twenties), all the vets i knew used this guide.Ginahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10788740577135090145noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6238935945204503440.post-56609487292862650332008-07-03T17:22:00.000-05:002008-07-03T17:22:00.000-05:00danielle - i have the goat care book, i'll check o...danielle - i have the goat care book, i'll check out the sheep one. i have the juliette books too! :D thanks for the suggestions.

wow - i'm getting my first 2v sheep in 2 weeks. i'd like to have some more knowledge about their care/well-being before i do so, just to be safe (and prepared for the future).

robbyn - thanks for the recommendation! i spent quite a while on her website and blog. :)tansyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03126378170210755616noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6238935945204503440.post-74873958257006456102008-07-03T08:20:00.000-05:002008-07-03T08:20:00.000-05:00Monica at SmallMeadowFarm is a great resource :)Monica at SmallMeadowFarm is a great resource :)Robbynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01860870861321231048noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6238935945204503440.post-49891058001807486832008-07-03T03:10:00.000-05:002008-07-03T03:10:00.000-05:00Two weeks to learn??? She said it was useful for all small animals, so I bought it, especially considering I have dogs and cats.

Hope that helps!

Oh, and I'm also on a holisticgoats yahoo list, but haven't found that one all that helpful really. Some good info comes across, but not all of it is natural.Daniellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07687340159825245112noreply@blogger.com
