published!


i wrote an article for essential herbal. it's been awhile since i've done so. i wrote about making yummy herbal candy. peppermint and spearmint were good but making them with lemon balm is to die for! my kids begged for more. i want to try sage, basil and bergamot next.

  1. Candied violets... YUM. I think I'd like to try candied marjoram too, but maybe that's just because I've got marjoram on the mind.

    How about Rose candy, horehound, thyme, fennel, or lemon verbena?? Mmmmmm....

  3. I think tarragon for people who like licorice. (Which I don't, but a lot of people do. LOL)

  4. anise or rose geranium or lavender. I made lavender cookies and got a blue ribbon at the fair.

    Um, how about sassafrass or sumac (in the fall)???

  6. i already subscribe to the essential herbalist, read your article, and monday is dedicated to making candied lemon balm leaves now kristine! good article and congratulations on being published. (don't enter me in this contest since i have the mag already). just wanted to congratulate you and i think i might try pineapple sage candied now! good job kristine! hugs :)
